We want to thank all the folks at Friendship Baptist, Old Kingdom, and Midland Baptist for three great services. We were honored to meet many new folks yesterday, and look forward to seeing them again at our first annual homecoming scheduled for next spring here in Murfreesboro, Tn.

Looks like it's going to be a great convention (NQC) this year, however, unfortunately some of the legendary groups are not in the line-up: Southern Sound, Palmetto State, The Stamps Quartet, Mystery Men, The Nelons...just to name a few. Not sure why?...

When the Tennesseans started in 2006, I was determined to have a live band. The flexibility of having a piano player is just a great blessing for us, the singers and the audience alike. When gas prices went to over 4 bucks a gallon, we had to cut expenses; so we had to go with a track program. We have now decided to cut back on traveling the out-of-state dates and focusing around the Middle- Tennessee Region. This will allow us to travel with a band and leave the old Ipod at home! We hope by returning to live music, it will encourage and inspire other groups to do the same. Our audience deserves at least that much.
